We went to our first training meeting last night with the Utah Foster Care Foundation. It was wonderful to see how many couples and adults there were at the training. It makes me feel good that there are so many people willing to open up there hearts and homes to children that need a safe place to live, where they will feel welcomed and loved. We are so excited to continue the training, get certified, and have the opportunity to open our home to these children. I also found out yesterday that I was accepted into the University of Utah as a music major. I will be enrolling in the Bachelor of Arts degree program in Music. My goal is to be accepted into the Bachelor of Music in Performance degree program. I will be taking the same classes as if I were in the Performance Program. After 1 year, I will be able to audition again for that program, and hopefully I will be accepted. Either way, I will be able to receive the same classes and instruction from the same teachers. Hopefully, I will be able to excel the first year, and if the professors like me, and I do well with my audition, it will all work out. Anyways, this weekend is General Conference and Easter weekend. We will be going to South Weber tomorrow to visit Brittney's family and have an easter egg hunt with our nieces and nephews. I am really looking forward to this conference and I hope that I am spiritually prepared to listen to the messages that I need to hear. Please keep praying for us that everything will work out for us to be able to foster and eventually adopt. - David
