He's Home..... for good!!!

David arrived home on Friday February 27th at 6:00 in the morning....snow and all. His flight wasn't supposed to arrive until 6:45, but David said his pilot wanted to get them home. We barely made it...but because there was an earlier flight that was supposed to arrive at 5:45 David suggested that we be to the Salt Lake Air Base by 6:00 to avoid the traffic of everybody leaving the base from the earlier flight. So we planned ahead to be there at 6:00 which was the only reason we got to see him off the plane, well and the fact that he planned and waited to be one of the last ones off . Cheryl told me he would wait to be the last one off, but I told her he wouldn't do that to me.... but he did. We had dinner with my family that night at Buca Di Beppo and had alot of fun. We spent the next day at Camp Williams doing some final paperwork and wrap up, and I was able to meet a lot of people that David had served with. On Sunday we went to Katelin's blessing, and David was able to be in the circle, which was very important to him. After the blessing we met at David's parent's house and had a "Welcome Home" party with ALL of his brothers and sisters and their families. We were able to suprise David with an unexpected visitor. Christina flew in from Portland with Ava to welcome him home. David was able to meet both of his new nieces that were born while he was gone. I am so glad to have David home and to start our lives together again.....for good this time.
