Being apart this Thanksgiving wasn't easy, but we made the best of it. David had a "good" Thanksgiving meal at the chow hall and got an extra day off from work. He loved having two days off in a row (something he hasn't had in almost 8 months).
I went to Nikole's house and spent time with my family. Since Nikole and Brian were in charge this year, Brian decided he wanted to try frying the turkey. Mmmmm. All of the food was exceptionally good this year. The kids made turkeys out of pine cones with their grandma and we had a good time visiting.
I love Thanksgiving!!!
