Exciting News from Afghanistan!!!

David has been promoted to Staff Sergeant!
This promotion comes after a lot of very hard work and dedication. David has been working towards this promotion for some time now and it feels good to have accomplished this goal. It will help him to continue towards other goals and hopefully bring more opportunities in the future

Working 12+ hours / 6 days a week and volunteering his time to set up and maintain the Internet for his unit, has kept him busy. Although overwhelming at times, staying busy, definitely helps the time go by fast. In fact... We only have 31days left until David leaves to come home for his two week leave! It will be so good to have him home for Christmas, and we look forward to a lot of good times while he is home. I hope you enjoy the new pictures of David (with his new rank).
