We definitely chose the WRONG time to go to the zoo. It was really hot that day and we must have gone during nap time because ALL the animals were asleep. I didn't even take very many pictures because there just wasn't anything going on. The new Rocky Shores was really cool though. The kids liked the "white bear". Next time we'll have to go earlier in the morning on a cooler day.

I believe the zoo in the summer is no fun, too hot!!! You can tell the animals don't enjoy the heat either.
When we go in the fall the animals are so much more active, it is a lot funnier.
